Junior Content Creator, Gallery Recordings
Contract · 1–2 days per week · Naarm (Melbourne), Inner North / Hybrid

Gallery Recordings is an independent electronic music company based in Naarm, made up of three arms: Gallery Recordings (our label, with 55+ EPs and 3 albums across 30+ artists), artist management, and events.

We’re a small team that works with a range of Australian and international artists. We’re looking for a Junior Content Creator to help us tell our stories visually.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating social content across the label, our events, and our management roster
  • Repurposing release artwork assets, event flyers, and Instagram carousels and stories in Figma and Adobe
  • Cutting short-form video for Reels, TikTok and Stories: release teasers, event recaps, artist content and behind-the-scenes clips
  • Resizing and adapting assets across platforms and campaigns
  • Working with the team to plan content around release schedules and event campaigns
  • Event content editing

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in Figma and the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and/or After Effects)
  • Confident video editing skills, especially short-form vertical content
  • A strong eye for design and an understanding of what works on social
  • Ability to work to briefs and deadlines and manage your time across a part-time schedule
  • A portfolio that shows your work, whether it’s professional, freelance, study or personal projects
  • A genuine love of dance music.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Canva, Final Cut, CapCut or motion graphics
  • Photography or filming skills
  • Familiarity with Melbourne’s club and electronic music community

The details

  • Contract role, 1–2 days per week, with flexible days
  • Mix of in-person and remote work
  • Rate: to be discussed based on experience and skills
  • Start date: ASAP
